Terms of Service

The Local Vendors (company name to be confirmed) runs a marketplace that connects customers in Los Angeles County with independent vendors who come to them. Vendors are independent businesses, not The Local Vendors employees, and are responsible for their services.

You sign in with a code sent to your email. Keep access to that inbox secure. One account can run one vendor profile. You must be 18 or older.

• Prices, fees (a 5% service fee, any travel fee and applicable LA County tax) and the total are shown before you confirm.
• Card payments are in test mode today; no charges are made until they launch.
• Promotions have conditions shown with the code, for example first booking only.

• Flexible: Free cancellation up to 24 hours before. Inside 24 hours, 50% of the subtotal is charged.
• Moderate: Free cancellation up to 3 days before. Inside 3 days, 50% of the subtotal is charged.
• Event: Free cancellation up to 7 days before. Inside 7 days, the deposit (25%) is non-refundable.
• If a vendor cancels or declines, the customer isn't charged.

Be accurate in bookings, profiles and reviews. Don't harass anyone, take bookings off the platform to avoid fees, or misuse the service. We can suspend accounts that break these terms.
