People let vendors into their driveways, kitchens and homes. Here's what we do today, and what's coming before a wider launch.
Vendors
- Every vendor applies and is reviewed by a person before going live.
- Profiles marked “ID + insurance verified” have passed those checks. Background checks and ID verification for every vendor are being added before launch.
- Reviews come only from customers with a completed booking.
Your details
- Vendors see your street address and notes only after they accept your booking.
- Messages stay in the app, so neither side has to share a phone number.
- Review names are shortened to first name and initial.

In an emergency, call 911. To report a vendor, customer or review, email hello@thelocalvendors.com with the booking reference shown on the booking.
