Privacy Policy

• Account: email address and the name you give us.
• Bookings: ZIP code, street address, notes, answers to booking questions, the services, date, time and price.
• Messages between you and a vendor, and reviews you write.
• Vendors: business profile, photos you upload, working hours and time off.
• On your device only: chosen ZIP, theme and recent searches.
• Approximate location: on your first visit we use the city and ZIP your IP address points to (provided by our hosting company) to pick a starting ZIP. Your device's precise location is used only when you tap “Use my current location”. Neither is stored.

• Vendors see your first name, ZIP and booking details; your street address and notes only after they accept.
• Reviews show your first name and last initial.
• We use service providers to run the marketplace (hosting, database, email). We don't sell personal information.

Sign-in codes and session tokens are stored only as one-way hashes. Uploaded photos are re-encoded in your browser, which removes location data embedded in the file.

You can ask for a copy of your data or for your account to be deleted by emailing hello@thelocalvendors.com. California residents have these rights under the CCPA.
